Poetry: “Flying through the dark feels a lot like searching for something in an unknown land. There is curiosity that  appears but also a bit of fear. There is a natural apprehension of what to expect next or what threat might lie around the corner. As I move my wings toward the break of dawn, I find myself aligning with light. I’m drawn forth into it’s sweet caress and nestled deep into awakening. There is beauty in the journey I took through the night sky, because it led me to the brightest morning overflowing with hope. The joy rushes through my wings reminding me of my identity and the well of love that I come back to time and time again. Every day I seek to align myself with light and drink from the well of life-giving water.”
